Access to the Contractors' Secure Area

When you click on Contractors Sign-in , you will only be transferred to the Contractors' Only secure area if:

1. you are a representative of a Pharmacy Contractor contracted to one of the two PCTs represented by Co. Durham & Darlington LPC.

2. you have been allocated a Username & Password by the Website Administrator

Contractors' Secure Site - Easier Access

The Contractors' Site is located on a server which is accessible via any ISP (Internet Service Provider). This means you do not have have to use the Intr@pharm (NPAnet) dial-up to access this part of the site, although we still strongly recommend it, as it gives you the best protection from unauthorised access to your computer. If you use a different means of access please be sure that you have anti-virus software and a firewall installed and switched on, particularly if you are accessing the internet via your PMR.

It also means that pharmacists working for companies which do not allow web access via Intr@pharm now have access to the whole of the Durham LPC website. The first time you access the Contractors' Only site you will be asked to enter a Username & Password which will be stored in a cookie on your computer. You will only need to sign in again if:

  • the cookie has expired (approximately 365 days)
  • you have deleted the cookie
  • you are logging on from a different computer

Members of the public and Pharmacy Contractors from other PCTs are not allowed to access the Contractors' Only site
